Be proactive in protecting community assets
*Yalandur: The role of the community is very important in protecting community assets such as lakes, canals, cemeteries, wells, roads and cattle sheds, said K.M. Ravindra, Assistant Director of the Municipal Corporation.
Speaking while inaugurating a training program on community assets held recently at the town's TAMPA hall, he said that MBKs, LCRPs, Krishi Sakhis and Pashu Sakhis working in the N. RLM department are being trained online by FES organization from resource persons who have achieved success in environmental protection in the country and abroad to protect community assets. Community assets need to be protected by joining hands with the department.
Taluk Manager Ravi, FES District Coordinator Shantaraju, MBKs, LCRPs, and Krishi Sakhi from various Gram Panchayats of the taluk were present at the program.
