The Department of Rural Development has instructed the 5949 gram panchayats of the state to present the budget and get approval from the taluk panchayat Karnataka Gram Swaraj
and Panchaytraj Act 1993
GP to prepare a budget including grants available to them under various heads in the next financial year and development projects to be undertaken.
This process should be completed by March 10. People friendly budget presented, approved. Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Minister Priyank Khar has directed to get it.
