International Community Conference Program at Lingasuru Taluk Panchayat, Raichur District
A community commons conference program was organized in Lingasugur Taluka Panchayat of Raichur district through YouTube and June meeting. This program was presided over by Honorable Panchayat Raj Assistant Officer Mr. Pampanagouda Patil and Taluka Panchayat Manager Mr. Amaresh Sir with the cooperation of Krishi Sakhi, Pashu Sukhi and LCRP of all the Gram Panchayats of the taluka participated in this meeting.
This international conference covered many topics and was very helpful for the national. The Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme, Community Resources Development and Works, as important working practices, were explained by representatives of many states through program presentations and as a topic of discussion through a YouTube program. In this conference, resource persons from all the states of India and their voices to use natural resources were invited.
It was organized through YouTube. This program was held in all the districts of Karnataka state from 10 December 2025 to 12 December 20 25. This program was led by Shankara Gowda of the Foundation for Ecological Security, and the IEC coordinator of the taluk also participated. This program was held in the Taluk Panchayat hall.
Balappa Thishanal and NRLM Taluk Affiliated Shri Veerappa and Basavaraj took charge and responsibility of this program and contributed to the success of the program. The role of women and Gram Panchayat Member Presidents in saving the government collective assets of Karnataka State was discussed at the international level and the office bearers of the State Village Environmental Development Committee participated and their views and ideas were discussed. In addition, their contribution and roles in environmental development and saving the environment in the villages of the respective taluk and the contribution of the environment to income generating activities were discussed in detail.
