International Community Conference on Commons in Devdurga T.P.
Raichur, Dec. 14 - An International conference program on Commons was organized online at the Taluk Panchayat of Devdurga Taluk.
The program was presided over by Assistant Director Anna Rao Sir. The program was attended by the Minister of Agriculture Shakti and Adikere Gram Panchayat staff and PDO, members of the union and all Gram Panchayats' berpotechnicians and village kayka friends. Resource persons from all states of India and abroad also participated in the international conference.
This program was organized online in the Taluk Panchayat Hall. This program was held in all the districts of Karnataka state from 10th December 2025 to 12th December 2025. This program was organized under the leadership of Shankara Gowda of the Foundation for Ecological Security, while Amaresh, the taluk IEC coordinator, and Makarandaiah, the NRLM taluk coordinator, took charge and responsibility of this program and helped in making it a success.
The role of women and Gram Panchayat member presidents in conserving the collective assets of the government in Karnataka state was discussed at an international level. The office bearers of Village Environmental Development Committees from all the states of India participated in the presentation and discussed their views and ideas. The Village Environmental Development and Management Committees in the villages of the respective taluks discussed in detail their contribution and roles in conserving the environment and the contribution of the environment to income-generating activities.
Yamunappa from my panchayat gave a presentation on the custard apple fruits of Arakera Gram Panchayat.
